Robert Kirkman Confirms And Debunks Rumors Surrounding Season 2 Of The Walking Dead!

The comic book creator finally sheds some light on which characters will feature in the highly anticipated second season and lets slip some new info on who we can expect to see return...

"We are in the writers' room right now and trying to sketch out a season two plan," he explained to Entertainment Weekly when quizzed about recent rumors that fan favourites such as Tyrese and Michonne would appear in the second season. "Anyone who knows how that process works knows that stuff changes day by day. We are in the massive brainstorming phase. We are talking it all out."



However, he did reveal that the writing team are keen on bringing episode one characters Morgan Jones (Lennie James) and his son Duane (Adrian Kali Turner) "both back as soon as possible. We're just dying to get [Lennie] back in the show. He's such a great actor."

Finally, the creator of the comic book series and executive producer on the hit AMC series confirmed that the villainous Governor will most definitely NOT feature in the next season but it's almost definite we'll get to see him in the third: "There's zero percent chance in the second season. In the third season it's 92 percent."

Awesome, cant wait to Hershel's Farm and the prison plotline on this!
And the governor should appear on season 3 premiere, season 2 should end with the guys learning about Woodbury‎ and heading to there.

The characters in this show can be pretty damn dumb at times. If I were a character in this book or show, the first thing I would do is get a caravan of vehicles with a gas truck in the middle that way we always have fuel. Then find a milatary armory and get some tanks and humvees to give us added protection from the zombies. Have two U-Hauls filled with bottled water and dry food and can goods also get a truck filled with guns, ammo and other weapons. and set up camp in said armory. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT>>... send teams out to car lots to get brand new cars and trucks.... that way we always have reliable transportation. Since I have never read the books I just thought I'd add my three cents since most of the time I'm labeled a villian.... btw YOU BYTCHES ARE BASTARDS!

I'm really glad they are putting Michonne in, shes my favorite character. cant wait to see what she does to the Governor in season 3 :)

i hate that they are getting so far away from the comics. im one of the few that was dissapointed with the first season.

Tyreese, Hershel's farm, and the prison FTW! Maybe up to Machonne. I don't think they could fit all that in one season, though. Especially if it's only 6 episodes like the last one.

As for the first season, I can see why they felt the need to drag it all out, but I agree that the weird science building was totally out of place. From here on out I really hope they stick to the comics. It's a great story. Doesn't need to be mucked up by ridiculous sci-fi cliches. Other than that it was pretty good. Just needs to lose all those damn extra characters.
