It's Freaky Friday, DCTV style!

The CW, via Arrow star Stephen Amell, has released a new promo poster for the upcoming "Elseworlds" event, and it features Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) suited-up as Green Arrow, and Oliver Queen (Amell) sporting The Flash's duds.

Though the plot of the crossover is still under wraps, this obviously has major story implications. Will the pair assume each other's identities for a specific reason, or are these actually alternate versions of the heroes? Given the premise of the 3-part event the latter is probably most likely, but we'll just have to wait and see.



The "Elseworlds" Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes with Supergirl on Tuesday the 11th at 8 p.m.

Just saw this on Amell's Instagram, my first reaction was "what in the actual [frick]?", I thought it was fanart for a moment.

On the bright side, we might get to see a ripped version of the Flash lol.

Doppelgänger shenanigans it appears. I understand why now David Ramsey said that this crossover will do things that will never happen again.

I just hope to see another one that features the rest of the characters and that it also shows Batwoman.

Very intrigued of where this is going.

The Flash suit actually looks pretty cool when it's filled by Amell.

And Grant looks like the Golden Age Green Arrow all young and clean shaven.

@ArthurFleck - It really is a shame. He doesn't have to go full-Amell on us, but that suit would look so much better if he had some muscle on him.

@ArthurFleck - I think he said on his instagram post that it's harder for him to put on muscle, some people were really roasting his ass which was kinda sad lol.

@Brifo - even so, with a professional trainer guiding his training he could bulk up and get more tone, which would make sense that a speedster would have an impressive physical build.
