In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

Some intriguing new details on season three of Arrow, though the biggest has to be the reveal that Laurel's father survives and is now Starling City's police captain. We'll likely learn more about this when the comic book prequel (set between the events of seasons two and three) is released on September 1st. Arrow returns to The CW on October 8th. What do you guys think?

Putting Oliver & Felicity together would be the 1st bad move they've made in my opinion...we saw Oliver with a Felicity-type in Smallville, can we please have Oliver & Laurel (as Black Canary).

Why couldn't they just keep Felicity as Ollie's friend?
Can't an attractive man and women be FRIENDS without needing to be anything more? :/ I like Felicity to be the "Chloe" to Oliver, nothing romantic, some teases of the idea but purely unrequited.

I'm genuinely surprised that Klone isn't extremely enthusiastic about Arrow.

Next he'll say he didn't like Man of Steel!

Heh heh! That's an inside joke to you newbies, as everyone knows Klone gushes about Snyder's film and never goes out of his way to comment on things he doesn't care about.

The producers should not force an Ollie/Felicity ship because the fangirls want it.

It never looked right to me.

I think I might have seen this synopsis before but for different episode.

Anyway, roll on October.

I'd take Felicity and Oliver over Felicity and every darn [male] guest star on the show.

Oh wow... I thought for sure he was a goner. So Oliver and Felicity will be dating? That's interesting. After the tease in the season finale, I figured the writers would hold off on making them a couple for a long time.

@McGee I'm genuinely surprised that you're genuinely surprised that Klone isn't extremely enthusiastic about Arrow.

Why the hell do people want this thing anyways? This may only be what I think, not sure, but I can see no chemistry between these two characters and the actors portraying them as lovers. Friends, yes, but lovers? It's non existent chemistry to me. Anyways, shipping... uggheer

I love how some people want Laurel/Oliver to happen just cus it's from the comics.

[frick] that shit. TV is TV. Comics are Comics.

Felicity > Laurel.

codydriscollsrightarm - 7/10/2014, 3:54 AM
Well, you can't see the chemistry.

Seems like a most people can.

I love their scenes, personally. So I'm happy.
Maven

I hope Grant comes back early in the season rather than Amell popping up in Flash again. They need to tie up 2x09's ending for those who (may have) had no idea what was going on. Lol.
Maven
Maven - 7/10/2014, 3:58 AM
Also, is 2x09's ending canon anymore? The Flash acts out that scene very differently. A few kept shots.

Klone

@JFogg

The show once mentioned the name "Green Arrow" to be followed up with the word "lame".

As friends it works... whenever they've ever played with the idea of them being lovers, the chemistry immediately becomes painful to me. Sorry, it does not work to me.

Hopefully this season. They have no other names to jump to...

Unless they go as far as "The Bow"...
