DONNA SMOAK RETURNS — During an attack on the mayor's office, Ray (Brandon Routh) iscritically injured.  Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is pleasantly surprised when her mother, DonnaSmoak (guest star Charlotte Ross), shows up at the hospital to offer her support.  With the SCPD outin full force looking for the assailant, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team work hard to stay onestep ahead of the police to find the man responsible.  However, things come to a head when Ra's alGhul (guest star Matt Nable) kidnaps Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne).  Dwight Little directed theepisode written by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle.

Good episode...although the military strategy used was terrible lol. Ray vs Ollie was solid although all the significance the show runners put into making ray different from iron man, didn't work. He is iron man lol. That mayor murder was crazy. I'm starting to accept the suspension of disbelief with arrow lol. The whole arrow impersonators no getting shot as he swooped down on the chain....I liked the episode show has gotten way better after a slow start

@Jollem the Flash is awesome - probably best show on tv. Arrow seemed like it was doing well, haven't been following it. But isn't Green Arrow a different character than Batman? Less brooding? Less angsty? More fun? I'm more of a DC guy anyway, I just don't want all characters in the DC universe to get the Batman treatment. Just saying.

One of the better episode of Arrow this season. Atom vs Arrow was a bit too short and the way it ended was weird. *SPOILER* Deadshot's death makes me think WB told CW to do it.*END SPOILER*

I just finished watching the first two seasons of Arrow; I came away impressed. I did catch some of tonight's ep. I missed the Atom/Arrow fight.

Deadshot is an awesome character. The flashbacks in tonight's episode with him were really cool! I don't think he's dead. We never saw a body.

its TDKR all over again...cops chasing the hero...being blamed for murders hes not doing...very similar to TDK and TDKR ....arrow is the TVs batman lol

@BatwingDCCU well, considering that they killed off most of the Squad off screen if I recall, and there were only two of them this time, makes me think they are phasing them out. And given this, would also lend credence to the rumor that Ezra Miller is playing Wally West, and not Barry Allen, which is why the TV show can also run concurrent to the movie.
