One Half Of ARROW And THE FLASH's Crossover Has A VERY Familiar Title

We know that The Flash's half of the crossover with Arrow will be called "Flash vs. Arrow", but the title of the episode focusing on Starling City's hero has a very familiar name...is Green Lantern on the way? Probably not, but this title is still VERY cool!

While it's more than likely just a way of paying homage to the numerous comic books which have held the title of "The Brave and the Bold" over the years (specifically the work by Mike Grell and Mark Waid (see below)), the title of Arrow's half of the crossover with The Flash is still worth getting excited/speculating over! There have been a number of Green Lantern references - specifically Ferris Air - in both shows, so could this be a hint that we're about to meet Hal Jordan or someone else connected to his world? I'm going to go with no unfortunately! Even so, titles like this are why Arrow is so well loved by fans and undoubtedly why The Flash will be too.

You can see photos of The Arrow and The Flash battling it out on set by clicking here, and a look at both Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell fully suited up by clicking here. Thoughts on the title?

I can't help but think this whole TV Justice League is a reaction to the Defenders, but hey I can't complain Aas a comic book fan I'm being spoiled rotten and I'm loving every second.

@AstonishingArachnid I wouldn't say so since the 0% pf the defenders has been seen yet or really acknowledged by the general public. I'm also fairly certain the Flash spinoff was in the works before Marvel announced it's netflix line up, but I could be wrong.

Sad that we'll probably also see the title "Worlds Finest" used for an episode of Arrow than the first-ever (live action) team-up of Superman and Batman on-screen.

You know DC must be doing something right when they have an entire account dedicated to talking shit about them.

I think a Green Lantern tv series would be cool. I would like to see something like that come on TNT. The show Falling Skies has some interesting alien designs and I could see GL working on that channel.

Television is definitely the prefered medium for comic book properties. It's a shame television shows don't have the same resources and abilities of a film though.

Very nice! If Green Lantern is going to appear on Arrow, I'd imagine it won't be any time soon.

The title is still cool though.

I think they're just going to keep teasing Green Lantern the same way they keep teasing Batman and never have him actually show up.
