Ever since it debuted, Arrow has aired on a Wednesday night. Well, that's all about to change as The CW has announced today that the Emerald Archer is making the leap from its usual timeslot to Thursday nights at 9pm following Supernatural. That's not a bad spot for the series, but it leaves Wednesday with no superheroes; instead, Riverdale will be shown at 8pm, with Dynasty at 9pm.
This isn't necessarily bad news for Arrow, but the fact it will air the same time as NBC's This Is Us could hurt it. As you can see below, Supergirl is staying on Monday nights, while The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow will remain on a Tuesday. There's no word on where Black Lightning will show up as that's being saved for the midseason. It is, of course, possible that it will take one of those Wednesday slots.
