Will ARROW Season 6 Find Redemption For Katie Cassidy's Black Siren?

Katie Cassidy is set to return to Arrow as a series regular in season 6. However, she'll be playing the evil Black Canary doppelgänger, Black Siren. Will she eventually turn to the side of good?

Picture this: You hail from a parallel reality where the version of yourself contradicts everything that your friends and family find familiar.  Is it possible to gradually change your intrinsic nature to more closely align with your other self? That's exactly what Arrow season 6 will explore as it welcomes Katie Cassidy back as a series regular. Arrow showrunner Wendy Mericle tells TV Line:

I don’t know if there’s any question about whether or not the [idea] of redemption will come up; it has to. Her father is there. Oliver is there. Everyone is going to be asking whether or not it’s possible to find a little piece of Laurel, the Laurel Lance they knew and loved, in there somewhere.

With Juliana Harkavy's Dinah Drake running around as Black Canary's successor, it's hard to imagine that Team Arrow has room for two sonic screams.  Are Dinah's days numbered or will Black Siren actually be in support of season 6's main villain?

Expect more clues to be revealed during Arrow's SDCC panel on Saturday, July 22.

They really shouldn't have killed off Laurel to begin with. One of the biggest mistakes the show ever made.

They had a real shot of doing a GREEN RANGER arc with her as Black Siren, at which point she would then be the actual Black Canary in Laurel's honor...but no, they **cked that up to.

Yeah i'm just gonna repeat the sentiment. Should never have killed her. Totally mistreated that character in seasons 3 and 4.

Is Felicity dead? Has it been confirmed that she is dead? Out of everyone that could of died on an island that exploded please let it be Felicity. Season 6 will be a lot better.

Deathstroke returning, new Black Canary returning, now Black Siren returning. So basically NO ONE died when the island exploded. I'm all for a Deathstroke return IF he's a villain again, but the fact that it seems like everyone is going to have survived upsets me a little beause it makes Chase have less of an impact.

Unless..... what if everyone DID die and this season is going to be Oliver imagining 'what could have been had they lived' but in reality they are all dead, or maybe only Dig survived but is missing a leg and is mangled now?
Nah...that'll never happen.

@trytan - That would actually be a good way to retire the overcrowded Arrow team, have everyone survive but suffer some injuries that means their off field duty.
