GOTHAM: Jerome & The Mad Hatter Are Loose In The New Promo For Season 4, Episode 16: "One Of My Three Soups"

Next week, in a Ben McKenzie-directed episode of Gotham, Gordon and Bullock find themselves hunting down some of Arkham Asylum's finest, including Jerome and the Mad Hatter! Come check out the new promo!

Gotham continues to be an unpredictable thrill ride as tonight's episode saw Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) put a bullet in Sofia Falcone's (Crystal Reed) head to save the former love of her life, Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie). However, while a shot to the temple would prove to be fatal for most, Sofia somehow managed to survive and is now being kept in a coma.

Next week, with one baddie out of the picture, another handful have started surfacing all across the city, including the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), the Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel), Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), and Ra's al Ghul (Alexander Siddig), and it's up to Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) to save the day.

Plus, Ben McKenzie directs his second episode of the series, following episode sixteen from season three, "These Delicate and Dark Obsessions."

I was in the middle of writing an article for this!! Arrgh. Lol.

Anyways, pretty great episode tonight. It had some really great moments, lots of characters and storylines tonight. Great to have Zsasz back, and that black gun toting guy too (forget his name, thought he was dead). The more Riddler, the better! The Selina and Bruce team up was great. Mr Freeze coming back was great. Biggest shock was the fate of Sophia, I did not see her getting offed this early with so many episodes left in the season, but I feel like they had kind of done as much as they could with her character. Not sure how she could survive getting shot in the head, but I doubt we will see her again. Not really sure what Barbara is going through with Ra's al Ghul, interesting to see what happens there. Good stuff!!

@HeavyMetal4Life - Well Butch also survived a bullet to the head. They probably got rid of Sophia so that they can move on to the other plots, next they will do the Jerome plot, then they will end the season with the Ra's al Ghul plot

@blitzburgh - they haven't explained that yet. I'm not sure if its just a vision to Barabara. But I do hope they bring him back. I thought the best episodes of the season were the first 6 or so that dealt with Ra's. He was a great foe and the story centered around him was extremely strong. Perhaps the 6 best consecutive episodes in the show's history. Killing him off was such a waste and loss, and the show became underwhelming (for at least me) after his death.

Next week's episode looks pretty good, Jerome is always a treat and looking forward to him. I wonder if this next episode will explain those set pics we saw earlier today for later on in the season... I am however a bit skeptical about the Mad Hatter, I actually was not a fan of his last season and did not care for his storyline. Hopefully he is good and not a deterrent.

And shieeet, Sofia got a headshot but ended up in a coma? Yeeah right! XD
We all know how shit works in this series, she'll be back all right. :P
Loved all the moments between Penguin and Nygma, Bruce and Selina were good, Jimbo was a badass.
The only thing i STILL don't like is the whole Ra's al ghul plot.
Like, imma big fan of this character and the fact that his storyline is strongly connected with Barbara's character (someone i despise) well...i hate that shit.
