Professor Pyg is continuing his reign of terror, and giving Captain Jim Gordon one massive headache. In a clip previewing this week's episode, Pyg calls Gordon to tell him that he is proceeding with phase 2 of his master plan to cleanse Gotham of corruption. The second phase of his involves removing the social elite of Gotham from existence, most likely in an extremely violent manner.

It's a bit of a surprise (and good!) to see that Professor Pyg will continue to get some screen time. What makes it surprising is that while Pyg is shaping up to be a good villain on the show, he isn't a very well known one outside of the hardcore Bat-fans. This shows that the show is making an effort to play to the diehard crowd more so than just the casual fan.

Check out the video and the episode synopsis below!

Professor Pyg continues to torment Gotham city, involving Jim Gordon whenever possible. Sofia and Penguin get ready for a fundraiser for the orphanage, and things don’t go as planned when Professor Pyg shows up as the chef. Meanwhile, Bruce’s partying gets in the way of his relationship with Alfred in the all-new “A Dark Knight: Let Them Eat Pie” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Nov. 16 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
