Krypton continues to be a surprisingly excellent superhero show and last night's episode featured arguably one of the series' greatest twists as it appears that Lyta-Zod (Georgina Campbell) was killed during the episode's final moments while her future husband Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), her time displaced son General Zod (Colin Salmon), and the rest of the planet were left watching on a worldwide broadcast.

Next week, Seg must find a way to cope with Lyta's death while also working with Nyssa (Wallis Day) to save their son. Meanwhile, alliances on Wegthor fracture.

The timeline for this show is just weird, they had to have Zod travel back in time just to be a part of it. They should've just had Jor-El be the main character and have Zod be like Michael Rosenbaum in Smallville where he progressively becomes more evil throughout the seasons.

The female version of Jax-Ur and Zod are the best of the Show.

This show is surprisingly good. I'm glad I gave it a chance. Brainiac, Zod, Jax, Seg.... they're all excellent. Having a lot of fun so far.

In a lot of ways it feels like GOT, all the threaded webs and machinations except way more advanced since it’s in the future, and everyone that’s not an El seems to have their own agenda of what’s best for everyone.
I dig it.
Not even sure if it’ll even go beyond this season.
How it ends is almost unimportant because it has to end with Jor-El being born and Superman’s legacy being restored.
How we get there at this point is far more interesting.
