We know Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 will feature several new and returning character, but while we know a lot about which characters will be returning, there hasn’t been a lot of info revealed on those that will making their debut on the show.

Thankfully, a report from That Hashtag Show has shed some light on two characters coming to Season 4, including the father of the Legends’ very own Nate Heywood, someone we briefly saw as a child in Season 2.

The breakdown for Nate’s father Hank Heywood, describes him as a man in his 60s who “is loved by many,” but not his own son. Also, Hank apparently takes values like “patriotism and sacrifice” very seriously, and despite his relationship with Nate, he “loves his son as much as a father possibly could.” Finally, the site notes that Hank is meant to have a type of charm similar to actor Woody Harrelson.

However, while we've learned the real name of one of the new characters, the other upcoming addition was given the code name “Ali.” According to the site, Ali is an Asian woman in her 20s who is “mega-intelligent and sharp.” Along with these traits, she is also said to be a highly imaginative person with romantic impulses. And like Heatwave’s secret love for romance novels, she will be a huge fan of Young Adult novels and fantasy literature.

In all, it sounds like these latest additions to the cast may have some fresh and fun interactions with the CW's team of time travelers. That said, the breakdowns don’t make it clear how big of a role they will have in the fourth season.

This show has become over the top ridiculous...and the best show in the Arrowverse. That Beebo finale was frigging hilarious.

Interested about Nate’s dad, who was I think just “Steel”.

Should I pick these arrowverse shows back up? I fell off after season 4 of arrow and season 2 of flash. I tried legends but never really got in to it. I used to love arrow but season 3 was meh and season 4 was god awful so I just completely stopped. Have they improved or is it more of the same?

@BlackLabsMatter - LoT really picks up in season 2 and is probably the best out of all the shows. The rest I just watch because I'm already invested in it. The most recent crossover is probably the best 2 hours of the comicbook genre in a long time. Even better than Justice League.

@BlackLabsMatter - I personally think that seasons 5 and 6 of Arrow have been a huge step up from 3 and 4, though not without their issues (I am also pretty excited for the direction it looks like they are going for season 7). Similarly, season 3 of Flash was easily my least favorite, but season 4 was a solid improvement. And, as Himura said, Legends really finds its stride starting in season 2. It's a completely ridiculous show that has a lot of fun with the time travel format in the best ways.
