The season finale of Peacemaker ended with the Justice League showing up to lend a helping hand...after the battle was won. Hidden in the shadows, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and The Flash were all shown from a distance, though only Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller reprised their respective roles in closeups (which were shot separately).
Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot either weren't asked to return or didn't want to (the Superman situation remains complicated), while the actors who played Batman and Cyborg were cut for unknown reasons.
Now, the actor who filled in for Superman, Brad Abramenko, has taken to Instagram to share a closer look at his costume. As you can see, he was wearing Cavill's suit, but we are expecting The Flash movie to write the Man of Steel out of continuity and replace him with Sasha Calle's Supergirl.
Abramenko is a relative unknown whose credits include "Fisherman #2" in Batwoman and "Guard 1" in The Flash TV series. Suiting up as Superman was clearly a very special experience for him, though we can't help but wonder how Cavill feels. Of course, this wouldn't be the first time he's been replaced, as a stand-in was also used for Shazam!'s final scene in 2019.
