Between the return of Tyler Hoechlin's Superman and the debut of both Lois Lane and Batwoman (Ruby Rose), this year's Arrowverse crossover may be the biggest one yet, and it may be getting bigger as two new character breakdowns hint at a potentially huge surprise.
The first of these breakdowns may be the most interesting, as it seems to describe a Kryptonian character called Lon-El, a name That Hashtag Show believes is being used to hide the character's real identity. But even if this proves to be just a code name, "Lon-El is described as a mysterious visitor who is from another planet and is both ambiguous, inscrutable and has the power that is teased as nearly infinite."
Aside from giving us info on the character himself, the breakdown also revealed that the CW is looking for an actor of any ethnicity and notes that they may appear in "post-crossover episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl as well as Legends of Tomorrow."
Besides the mysterious Lon-El there were also details on someone named Dr. Elias Kern. Again, the network may be using this name to cover up the character's true identity, but unlike Lon-El, this character definitely sounds like a villain.
"Described as a psychiatrist with his own mental health problems, Dr. Kern is a brutal sociopath who appears to be starting to lose his grip on reality. This recurring guest star will be present in all three episodes of the crossover."
While fans will have to wait a bit longer to see these characters in action, it sounds the popular Arrowverse will gain some interesting additions when the crossover kicks off on December 9 with a new episode of The Flash.
