SUPERGIRL Casts TRANSPORTER Actor Chris Vance As 'Non'

We heard this character would be making an appearance on Supergirl a while back, and now he's been cast. According to THR, Chris Vance will recur as a small-screen incarnation of Krytonian warrior, Non.

British actor Chris Vance (most recently seen on Transpoeter: The Series) has been cast as Non on CBS's upcoming Supergirl TV series. This DC villain most memorably appeared in Superman II as a mute henchman of General Zod's, but by all accounts this new incarnation will take a different route with the character.

THR describes this take on Non as "a former scientist in league with the House of El. Non is a brutal Kryptonian military officer who is sinister, powerful and angry. He's the antithesis of all things Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands for. Non will quickly become Supergirl's greatest threat."

Vance will make his debut as Non in the eight episode. Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.

As much as I laugh at the pic myself I have strong faith or hope in this show. The pilot was solid, and hell they made the Lumberjack actually cool!

Of course if you do not give a crap than why even bother to take energy to clock on to this article and make such a jack ass comment?

Personally I am tired of fools on this site always cropping on DC does or what Marvel does. People here are killing the joy for others and at the same time creating new trolls in the process.

Jollem is full of sh*t - we all know that. As for that Red Tornado costume, I've never seen anything so cheap and lame - it looks like a bargain basement Hallowe'en costume. Prefer the one in JL Unlimited - no reason why we could not have had that version...

Wow so people are basing the whole show off of one bad costume....... the show must be doomed! I mean heck after seeing a character look like Laser Tag player you would think that show would have been cancelled as well!

When you're running out of villains, so you warp one of superman's enemies into something he's not. Basically changing him into what his commanding officer, Zod, was. I'm all for a new takebut this makes no sense. Non works better as a brute. A PHYSICAL POWERHOUSE.


If you wanna pull fro Krypton's list of villains, how about Jax-Ur? He was ACTUALLY a immoral and deviant scientist. He destroyed a moon of Krypton. He called himself "the worst criminal in the Phantom Zone". Use him instead of making changes to Non.

I'm looking forward to this show......it's got the same tone as some of the Marvel family friendly movies....😉

As for Supergirl, I'm excited for the show and Melissa Benoist has bewitched me with her. . . . charm.
