An Iconic JUSTICE LEAGUE Related Location Was Teased In Tonight's Episode Of THE FLASH

In tonight's episode of The Flash, we were introduced to the STAR Labs facility which Barry Allen used to assemble a team to take on The Dominators. However, if you're a fan of the comic books, you no doubt realised that the building bore a striking resemblance to the Superfriends' iconic Hall of Justice.

Used as a base by the Justice League at various points in their history, executive producer Marc Guggenheim had this to say about its inclusion. "We were talking about where to put it — maybe it was an old warehouse or whatever. Someone said something that made me think, ‘You know, there’s this building in Cincinnati that is the basis for the Hall of Justice in the Super Friends. I’m sure there’s stock footage that we could then alter.’ That’s what we ended up doing." That's a cool Easter Egg!

"I was so giddily happy," he continued. "It’s probably my favorite thing in the whole crossover: the Hall of Justice. Props to Encore who did an amazing job of altering it in all the right ways. Putting the waterpool in the front and the sculptures. There were some shots they turned dusk to day or day to night, made all that footage work great. 10-year-old me can die happy." It will no be interesting to see if the Hall of Justice returns, especially if Star Labs is for some reason taken off the table down the line.

this crossover has been really really great so far

the flash/arrow vs everybody fighting sequence was tremendously done. character interactions were entertaining and the best part of it all is that it didnt feel all convoluted with this many characters. everyone from team arrow to team flash to team legends set the bar quite high.

by far, the best ep on the flash so far. all of them have been decent, but not as good as this one.

idk why people hate on the berlanti-verse so much. i guess people are so focused on the could've-should've that they fail to even embrace what we currently have.

They should've asked the Green Lantern Corps for help since they're fighting aliens. Or just called in the Spectre to take care of it.

@ComicsBornAndBred - @ComicsBornAndBred - Yeah. Let the kids play with the Hall.

The grown ups are going to be busy actually watching over the planet.

I definitely got Justice League vibes from this episode, it was beyond awesome seeing all the heroes working together. It really makes me wish we could just get a JLA series or miniseries on the CW, but I know that's not gonna happen. It will take a miracle for Snyder to actually deliver on the JL movie-front.

*Does the narrator voice from super friends* "MEANWHILE AT THE HALL OF JUSTICE"

This episode was like a comic book come to life, even down to the crossover trope of pointing out the next "issue" to check out.

I was smiling more during this episode than I was during the airport fight in Civil War.
