SPOILERS: Last Night's Episode Of THE FLASH Revealed A Major Flashpoint Change In ARROW

Barry Allen thought that allowing the Reverse-Flash to kill his mother would reset the timeline, but it instead created a third reality with some big changes. The most significant though will be in Arrow...

In last night's episode of The Flash, Barry learned just how much of an impact his actions in the season two finale had on the lives of his friends and family. Cisco's (who is now closer than ever to becoming Vibe) brother is dead after being killed by a drunk driver, Caitlin somehow has Killer Frost's powers, Iris and Joe no longer talk because he didn't tell her that her mother was alive, and Barry and Iris never kissed. Some of that was fixed by the end of the episode, but one big change can't be made right.

After checking in with Felicity, Barry learned that everything is pretty much the same in the lives of Team Arrow. Well, other than the fact that baby Sara has now been wiped out of existence! In her place is a young boy called John Diggle Jr., and those of you who watch Legends of Tomorrow will know that we met him as an adult during an episode set in Star City in 2047. There, he had taken on the name Connor Hawke and become Green Arrow. Needless to say, this is a pretty massive alteration!

There's nothing to say that the timeline we saw in Legends is going to come true, but replacing Sara with John should have a pretty major impact on Diggle's storylines in Arrow moving forward. For now, it seems like the biggest Flashpoint changes have been revealed, but expect at least a few more to follow in The Flash, especially as Captain Cold is somehow still alive in this newly created timeline.

@slickrickdesigns - man, Eddie was such a nice guy in season 1. And yet whenever there is a mysterious bad guy, fans always assume its him.

@JoshWilding

I've bashed you and you're work here before but I want to give you credit for a good article. You summed up repercussions of the episode nicely.

Thanks.
