We're very sad to report that up-and-coming Canadian actor Logan Williams has passed away aged just 16.

Williams will be best known for playing the younger version of Barry Allen via flashback in The CW's The Flash throughout the first season of the show, but he also appeared in the likes of When Calls the Heart, Supernatural and Whispers.

His mother, Marlyse Williams, told The Tri-City News that her son died suddenly on Thursday, but no details on what exactly happened were provided. Coronavirus is not believed to be the cause, but the pandemic will prevent Marlyse from grieving with the rest of her family because of social distancing restrictions.

The Flash cast members Grant Gustin and John Wesley Shipp have shared tributes to Williams on social media.

Our thoughts go out to Williams family and friends during this very difficult time.
