A Teen Titans TV series (titled Titans) has been in the works for a while now but aside from the odd update here and there, we haven't really got any big news for quite some time. Well, while it's still quite clearly early days, Geoff Johns has taken to Twitter to reveal that work has now started on the series. Whether or not that means an announcement of some sort is incoming remains to be seen, but it's likely we'll hear about casting and other important tidbits in the coming weeks and months.

So, what do we know about
Titans? Well, it's set to premiere on DC's new digital streaming service and that it will consist of around thirteen episodes, a sign that the focus is on quality over quantity!

With a live-action Nightwing movie in the works at Warner Bros., it's now unclear whether or not Dick Grayson will still be part of Titans. However, considering the fact that there will be two live-action versions of the Flash around at the same time as of this November, there's nothing to say that will be an issue. With any luck, some official casting news in the near future will clear questions like that up.

So will this be a Titans show without Dick Grayson and Cyborg?

@Kyos - the casting calls made it sound like Dick is in it, but nothing on Cyborg yet. Going off the casting calls, it's Dick, Kori, Raven and Gar
