There have already been hints that season two of Titans will adapt "The Judas Contract" and now Geoff Johns has confirmed that we're going to see Deathstroke (and his son, Jericho) in the DC Universe series down the line. "You’ll see Deathstroke in Titans eventually, but it’ll be a new version," the executive producer said, confirming it will be a new take. "You’ll definitely see it in the show."

In other words, neither Joe Manganiello nor Manu Bennet will end up suiting up as Slade Wilson in the series and this version will be differentiated somehow from what's come before which is no bad thing.

However, another character on the way to the series is Deathstroke son, Joe Wilson. Also known as Jericho, he made a brief appearance in Arrow and DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee confirmed that we'll see him in Titans too. "Last night at dinner, Geoff and I were talking about Jericho," he noted. "So yes, definitely." Perhaps we'll get some hints about both characters when season one debuts next week?

After all, a mention or cameo appearance from the villains would be a cool way to end the season...

Since this is my favorite comic property since I was a kid, I can't be more excited. I wasn't thrilled with the eff Batman line...but I'm still hoping to be blown away.

Liam Hemsworth for Joseph.

Why even bother though? That'll be 3 live-action Slades at once. And they'll never beat Manu anyway so why bother.

Just cast Manu. You don't have to tie it to the Arrowverse. But Manu's been pushing for a Deathstroke series, so it would be unfair to recast him.

@Nightwing1015 - Manu’s far from a regular on Arrow and we’ll probably not see Joe’s version again anytime soon.

A new version could be fun.

@Nightwing1015 - also, casting Manu and not connecting it would be stupid.

Casting Manu and connecting it would be even more stupid.

Manu was great, but whoever they get might be even better.

@Philip - Based on some of the casting and creative decisions on this show, I'd be very surprised if their version was better than Manu.

@Nightwing1015 - the whole reason Manu’s Deathstroke is good is because they gave him plenty of time to develop this version. We got to know Slade before we knew Deathstroke.

And given the reception the show’s been getting so far, I’d say their casting and creative decisions have worked pretty well.

As long as they handle the new Deathstroke’s arc well, I’m confident he’ll be just as good as Manu, if not better.

So here's to hoping I don't get burned out by Deathstroke before he appears in the films or whatever.

Marvel fan since childhood here and I gotta say I'm excited for this. I couldn't get into Arrow (although I did go to Season 3), and therefore the TV universe. Just felt too teen angsty to me but this is looking great!!! Excited at the prospect of enjoying some live action DC again, (not since Nolan for me).!!!

Actually I did like Wonder Woman now that I think of it (except the end). Good movie overall.

Can't we pull from some different villains? I know Slade is a big deal to the Titans but I feel like we've seen a lot of him.

Well this all but confirms that we are going to have officially a new TV universe but on stream like Netflix's Defenders shows.

I am curious about this Slade and I am going to welcome him but c'mon give Manu Bennett some meat that he can sink his teeth on, he's a fan favourite anti-hero in the Arrowverse!
