Production is now underway on season 2 of DC Universe's Titans, and a photo from the set has found its way online which gives us a first look at Aussie actor Joshua Orpin (The Neon Spectrum) as Connor Kent, aka Superboy.

As you can see, they're keeping the costume pretty simple, with blue jeans and the iconic "S" symbol adorning a black t-shirt. The character has donned several different looks in the comics over the years, but this is arguably his most recognizable outfit.

Connor was introduced in the season 1 finale post-credits scene along with his canine companion Krypto. We're still not sure how he'll factor into the plot, but there's a decent chance he will come to the aid of Starfire (Anna Diop) and Donna Troy (Conor Leslie) as they attempt to free their teammates from the grip of the demonic Trigon (Seamus Dever).

What do you guys make of this first look at Superboy?

Not a difficult costume to pull off

@Kevwebsz - And yet Smallville failed miserably at it.

I hope S2 of Titans is better. S1 was very blah.

Most interested in seeing the Nightwing costume.

@RageDriver2401 - I saw it and i though it was way better than i expected. Didnt needed to be that dark because of the nature of the property but still it was pretty good. Except the sadistic hooker killer Star Fire.

Would have preferred they gave him a good ol' pair of jeans instead of those vibrant blue cargo pants. Looking good though.

Well, I guess you can't fault that. That's the costume and he looks like Superboy

The costume's not really different from Smallville's though:

@Nightwing1015 - Just the age aspect-wise. The actor from Smallville did sell the part of Super"boy" while Joshua sells the Young Justice design.
