TV's "Jimmy Olsen" Jack Larson Passes Away At 87

Actor Jack Larson, who portrayed the character of Jimmy Olsen on the T.V Series "Adventures of Superman" died at the age of 87 years old.

Jack Larson, an actor best known for portraying Jimmy Olsen on the 1951 television series "The Adventures Of Superman", has passed away at the age of 87 years old, he died last Sunday at his home in Brentwood, Calif.

There are not much details about his death, but it was confirmed by his longtime friend Alan Howard.

He also appeared on TV series "Superboy", "Lois and Clark : The New Adventures Of Superman", "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit". He also had an appearance on the 2006 movie "Superman Returns".

I thought Jimmy Olsen was a a buff black guy named James? Even back in the 50s they didn't stick to the source materiel, for shame! RIP.
