It's entreating for the short few minutes its on. I kinda find it hard to believe barry couldn't catch her though, i mean i don't care what animal she picks nothing is faster than the flash.

Great show actually. I think it actually might be better than Arrow and Flash atm.

Sad but we won't see a show like this be done in live action on the CW.

It doesn't have enough CWisms in it.

This show is [frick]ing horrible, it's like every cliche crammed into one.

@Nitric I agree, although I think they could have had her avoid him or jump over him when he caught up.

I mean, he was going tons faster when facing Reverse Flash.

But then that's a problem for the whole show, because basically that means he would take down everyone in his show easily.

Think about it.

He comes speeding to a the rescue. Don't stop and say hand over your hostage. Just take the hostage wrap up the bad guys etc. and done.

But nope, that's not interesting, so they have to usually tone down his powers.

That's why honestly limitless super speed is a really hard super power to write.

Because you logically can solve every problem.

Decent enough show but hard to say if it's going to get a huge following. I like it. I see it existing for one rea$on. Extra acting time for our heroes. (Kinda like "Classic characterization 101") Fact is, this was Amell's best portrayal of Green Arrow yet. I hope the tone crosses over to his show. It needs to.
Also, agreed. Flash should be able to outrun any earthbound animal. What's up with that?

@superotherside
I talked myself into believing that running at quantum speeds requires an almost infinite amount of variables. Therefore Flash has a learning curve in controlling those variables. The sheer amount of changing your rhythmic steps to match a speed just higher than whatever speed you are trying to best, (in this case a cheetah) takes time and practice. He is either too fast, or too slow but he is a character that continuously learns about The limits of his powers.

@Baf Cool explanation. Still feel that in most cases he would be able to prevent whatever very easily.

The writers give him problems that wouldn't be real problems. Which is understandable, because what problem can you make when someone is invincible in a way.

Don't get me wrong, I love Flash, but super speed is just so hard to define IMO.

Sometimes you gotta grab at strings.

There are many issues with heroes. For example:
Flash-If he actually grabbed people and moved them out of the way at super speed he would break every bone in their body.
Iron Man-stoping short and falling out of the sky would not stop internal injuries. His internal organs should explode every time he takes a ride in that suit. Kind of like a fitted car crash.
Mr. Fantastic-O.K. You can stretch. But when did you get super strength? He's always stopping things that are way too heavy.
Answers to these questions would serve to enrich the characters.
