With the show set to release in less than a month from now, the show should start releasing more footage to entice people to catch this more than welcome horrific and terrifying take  on vampires. Del Toro is known for his love of the supernatural, and who else better to make an adaptation of the books that the show is based on than it's creator. 	Premise:
	
		
		A plane lands at John F. Kennedy Airport with the lights off and doors sealed. Epidemologist Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll) and his team are sent to investigate. On board they find two hundred corpses and four survivors. The situation deteriorates when the bodies begin disappearing from morgues. Goodweather and a small group of helfers find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones, but the entire city from an ancient threat to humanity.
	 
	The Strain is based on the trilogy of novel of the same name by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan.
	It is set to premiere on July 13, 2014 on FX and is set to run for 13 episodes.
