GAME OF THRONES: It's Time To Burn Everything Down In The New Promo For Season 8, Episode 5

After arguably the best episode of the final season, the endgame is now upon us as Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, and more have arrived in King's Landing to take down the Mad Queen Cersei.

"Dracarys."

...And with that, the last war has begun. Next week's penultimate installlment of season eight will see Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Grey Worm (Raleigh Ritchie), and everyone that survived The Long Night regroup and preparing to do whatever it takes to take down the Mad Queen Cersei (Lena Headey) - and that includes burning King's Landing to the ground if they have to.

However, while the war will undoubtedly occupy a vast majority of the episode's runtime, it seems likely we'll also get more insight into Varys' (Conleth Hill) plans for the throne, as well as Dany's reaction more people knowing the truth about Aegon and a possible last-minute arrival from Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

In Season 7, Daenerys Targaryen has finally set sail for Westeros with her armies, dragons and new Hand of the Queen, Tyrion Lannister. Jon Snow has been named King in the North after defeating Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards and returning Winterfell to House Stark. In King's Landing, Cersei Lannister has seized the Iron Throne by incinerating the High Sparrow, his followers and her rivals in the Sept of Baelor. But as old alliances fracture and new ones emerge, an army of dead men marches on the Wall, threatening to end the game of thrones forever.

@rebellion - She's been like this for awhile now. It's just become noticeable now that it's being directed at Jon/Aegon and the Starks. There have always been little hints that she would go mad by series end.

Another badly written episode. So Ned can keep a secret until his last day but Jon, who also would know the consequences, keeps it for one week. Also, nobody scouted ahead to see if dragonstone was clear? F'n really. Euron only has the biggest fleet around. Sorry but benioff and db weiss can screw off.
