In a recent interview, Jason Momoa - who plays Conan the Barbarian in the upcoming film of the same name - talks about how the TV series
Game Of Thrones helped him gain the role of Conan. He also discusses his lack of of interest in riding horses, and jokes about what he'll do to the horse in the inevitable
Conan sequel.
On his hatred for horses...
I hate horses. Me and that horse didn’t get along very well. He broke a couple of my ribs.
On earning the title role in Conan The Barbarian...
I went out on an audition to do Game of Thrones… and that the same casting director was [working on] Conan.
On a war dance of sorts which helped him earn the role...
It’s like a war dance that you go into battle with and so I did it. It’s very scary.
On what he'll do to his horse in the inevitable Conan sequel...
[With] Conan 2, I’m gonna start with me eating that horse.
Conan The Barbarian arrives in theaters August 19, later this year!
