Speaking with Access Hollywood at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Performers Peer Group cocktail reception, Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks expands further on why exactly she listed Game of Thrones as a show she'd like to guest star. "I was recently quoted as saying that if I wanted to guest star on another Emmy nominated show, I would probably do Game of Thrones for the sheer fantasy of it and loving the costuming of it. It would be fun to throw on pelts and horns and ride around on horseback. I just love that television has opened the doors to fantasy and such a wide variety of these things didn't exist before and I just love that they're doing that and people are passionate about it. It's great."
