Check out the new promo for next week's episode below!

Episode #53 (season 6, episode 3): “Oathbreaker”

Debut: SUNDAY, MAY 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift.

Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Dan Sackheim.

Plus, here's a message from Kit Harington:

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Game of Thrones returns May 8

Wait I thought the last episode ended on a cliff hanger? Is this show so desperate for people to watch that it ends with cliff hangers?
No wonder I don't watch it.

@Scorpo - So every show ever is irrelevant? Maybe it's just a little weird you decided to go to a thread about Game of Thrones, which you don't like or watch, and complain?

Looks like someone DOES care after all. :P

I'm obviously happy he's back but he never should've died in the first place. So predictable.

@CallMeColossus - Yea, but his death kinda did need to happen, his watch ended with his death. He no longer has to be there, he can smang freaks and have children, wear crowns and hold lands now too.

Well that saved the show. The high sparrow/Tommen storyline is weak sauce...and i dont read the books so dont care if thats how it is. Weak is weak.
