This past Sunday, the long awaited second season Premiere of "Game of Thrones" aired. The episode, title "The North Remembers" kicked things into high gear for the show, premiering with a series high of 3.86 million viewers with a 2.0 in the key 18-49 demo.

Not only did the show return to record ratings for itself, but it also led the Sunday night cable ratings, which boast the return of AMC's "The Killing", as well as the second episode of "Mad Men".

HBO has to be pleased with this return, as the show is very costly to produce. The second episode titled "The Night Lands" will air this coming Sunday at 9pm.

Did you see the premiere? What did you think? Will "Thrones" be able to keep up these ratings? Sound off below!

Show was good but those of us that have read the books are severly dispointed.

@captaintuesday I have also read all the books and am just curious as to what you are "severely disappointed" about. For the most part, season 1, and this first ep, have been very faithful adaptations to the source material.
