WATCHMEN: HBO Unveils Official Image Of The Comedian, Silk Spectre And The Rest Of The Minutemen

Last night's episode of Watchmen introduced us to a small-screen take on '40s crime-fighters The Minutemen, & HBO has now unveiled a much better look at The Comedian, Silk Spectre and the rest of the team.

This week's episode of HBO's superb Watchmen TV series brought us back in time to revisit the birth of costumes crime-fighters, as we explored Hooded Justice's relationship with fellow Minutemen member, Captain Metropolis.

We did also get a brief glimpse of the rest of the team, but HBO has now unveiled a black-and-white photo of The Minutemen assembled which gives us a much better look at the other characters. From left to right, we have Silhouette, Mothman, Dollar Bill, Nite Owl, Captain Metropolis, Silk Spectre, Hooded Justice, and The Comedian kneeling in front.

The image is reminiscent of a very similar shot from Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation, which was, of course, directly influenced by a panel from Alan Moore's seminal graphic novel.

Tell us, have you been enjoying Watchmen so far? How do you think the story will begin to wrap up as we get closer to the season finale? Sound off in the comments section below.

I like Snyder's better but still good.

I love how home-made these look in comparison to how glossy and high-end Snyder's version looked. It was the 1940's and a bunch of middle class police men decided to make their own costumes, according to Hollis Mason's memoir at the very least, so them looking like this fits so well. Also, making the Comedian 16 here, like he was in the book, and not a grown ass man haha

Shit wasn't really subtle, if you payed attention, you could hardly call this ep as a revelation, but still...not bad.
For once, i liked how they crafted an episode, for once, it had some style from start to finish.

I still have mixed feelings about it tbh, only 3 ep left, we still gotta see God, and he could change everything.

Hooded Justice's origin story >>>>>>>> every other origin story.

@Necropolitan - It reminded me of Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man at points

0/10. Mothman should be picking his nose.

I think Snyder is more accurate down to the details - but either way, this show is awesome!

Well I'll be, Snyder actually did it better. On a production scale, Watchmen (2009) was flawless
