It's been long rumored that Dominic Cooper, who played Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger was set to reprise his role in the upcoming TV series, Agent Carter and now we may have just gotten a bit of confirmation on that front from lead actress Hayley Atwell. In an interview with The Telegraph, while discussing pranks she's played on past co-stars, she briefly talked about pranking her rumored co-star when he joins her on the set of the upcoming series: "He’s incredibly naughty, So I’m going to start the pranks as early as I can. He will come up with some very good ones, too." Now, while this is not official confirmation from Marvel, it does seem, based on her comments, that Cooper will be involved with the series in some capacity. Whether or not he's a series regular or just a guest appearance is yet to be determined.

Now, with the Stark patriarch involved, Agent Carter is shaping up to be quite the series. Sound off with your thoughts below.

It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark.

Good. May be one of the few fewer fewest reasons I'd want to keep up with the show. Cooper is great.

I hope they show HYDRA's initial infiltration.

Yeah, I think Neal McDonough as Dugan and "Antoine Triplett's Grandfather" (assuming they're not the same person) at the very least should appear. Saying that, I want some kind of explanation as to why Chester Phillips isn't there (pretty easy, he co-formed SHIELD then died) and surely Zola should be in it in some capacity?

Bring in Zola!! Or I'll have to come find someone to file a complaint to about how shitty the show is without him, when really it doesn't make a difference.

Careful now. Cpt. Britain isn't related to this in any way, it's Union Jack who is.

Howling commandos please-----as a strike the for the early SHIELD. Exited for this. Atwell is goo enough to carry a show, more so then Clark Gregg IMO. I think this cast will be better than AOS

It's good news to see that Stark will be returning but i wonder if they'll factor at some point in to the show that Howard Stark and his wife get assassinated by The Winter Soldier or was it HYDRA?

This series, guys, may be able to carry stories over towards Phase III; mainly, the following arcs:

1.) Zola/Hydra and the S.H.E.I.L.D. invasion

2.) The origin of the Kree body that appeared I AOS

3.) Stark's Expo creation leading toward Coulson's "Lola"

4.) Synthetic Man from Stark Expo HAS to play a role in what's coming in AVENGERS II and The Vision

5.) If HYDRA played a role in Stark's fate-the groundwork could be laid here.

Just a few thoughts.

Looking forward to the series. Glad to hear that Dominic is going to be involved. Now looking forward to see if Neal McDonough shows up (he's done television) It will a really great tie-in with AOS if Derek Luke makes an appearance, since I think he is Triplett's grandfather. Also wondering who the villians will be -Baron Zemo, for example since he was originally conceived for the movie -Nick Fury, to tell his connection to Howard Stark -and perhaps Union Jack since the character, Montgomery Falsworth was in CA: TFA. Serouisly, this could be a great TV show. So many elements to explore.
