I attended the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Paleyfest panel today, where they screened the new episode "The End of the Beginning." I wrote up a summary of the episode . Please do not read this unless you want the identity of the Clairvoyant spoiled for you!!!

Victoria Hand is the Clairvoyant. Here's what happens in the episode.
Garrett and Triplett are at a safehouse. Deathlok attacks and they manage to fend him off.
The bus lands on an aircraft carrier. Victoria Hand, Blake, and Sitwell board. Coulson says they went through S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files on possible psychics even though none officially exist, and determine 13 possible Clairvoyant candidates. Skye is made a full agent so she can participate. They decide to pair off and investigate each target seperately. Sitwell gets recalled and sent to a ship which gets hijacked at the beginning of CA:TWS.

Coulson and Garrett investigate one target, Ward and Triplett investigate a second, May and Blake investigate a third, a crippled man in a nursing home. Deathlok is sent a new toy, an arm cannon thing. At the nursing home, Deathlok attacks May and Blake. Blake gets the [frick] kicked out of him and is put in critical condition but May is unscathed. On the bus, they realize Blake put a tracker on Deathlok. Simmons gets herself transferred to the Triskelion to try and analyze Skye's blood.

A big team attacks the location of Deathlok, who flees. Coulson, Ward, and Garrett encounter the man in the wheelchair who communicates through a voice thing like Stephen Hawking. He says they want Skye and will kill her to extract her secrets. Ward shoots him to death.

On the bus, Coulson is unconvinced that was the real Clairvoyant. He and Skye realize all his inside information could have been gained from inside S.H.I.E.L.D. Coulson starts interrogating Ward, demanding to know why he killed the man. Meanwhile, Fitz discovers May's secret phone. May catches him and he bolts. He tells Skye and Coulson and they confront each other. May insists she is doing the right thing and doesn't want to hurt them. Suddenly the bus starts flying on its own.

They cut to Victoria Hand, who tells her underlings to kill everyone onboard except Coulson, because "he's mine."A few other random notes: Nick Fury agrees to meet with Coulson at the end of the episode (he doesn't appear). That's where they are headed when Hand reroutes the bus.

They repeatedly told us that the episode after this one will tie in heavily with CA:TWS. As I mentioned, Sitwell is reassigned to escort the Lemurian Star, which gets hijacked by Batroc at the beginning of the movie, so this episode must take place shortly beforehand.
There was no post-credits scene. I don't know if this is because there isn't one or because they didn't want to show it to us.Deathlok has a full metal plate under half his head, like the comic incarnation. Skye briefly sees it via x-ray imaging.

Not saying this is or isn't true, but if it is wouldn't be surprised if she is being controlled by the real clairvoyant.

If she is then epic fail and regret ever defending this shit show. That would be the biggest cop out on the only thing that has kept this show watchable.

I don't know if I am going to be disappointed to this or to be amazed in keeping us who the hell is the Clairvoyant.

You know why the Clairvoyant is on a wheelchair?

Because Black Widow shot his leg.

I'm pretty sure they're just trying to get the audience to THINK Hand is the Clairvoyant. The Clairvoyant's true identity will be revealed in the episode afterwards. My guess is either the Leader or Arnim Zola.

Okay, lame theory. I'm asleep,

Based on WTS... think we can rule out Arnim Zola. Trying not to spoil.

Didn't really get that she's the clairvoyant, nor that she's working for Centipede from that. Like Dethpillow said, either you misinterpreted it, or left something out of the summary.

I'm sure there's more to Hand than one thinks, and she's clearly a villain. Just don't believe all the villains are on the same side.

The Clairvoyant is revealed in Cap 2: it's Arnim Zola mind put in a S.H.I.E.L.D. machine called M.O.D.O.K. and connected to the S.H.I.E.L.D. network.

And Zola is working secretly for HYDRA.

Hi everyone, I'm the actual writer of this post on Reddit and Superherohype (thanks for not bothering to credit me). I provided some clarifications in those threads and will answer questions if you have them here.

@BlackDoomShadow Is this true?? Victoria Hand doesn't seem like the Clairvoyant... She's probably mean but not sure if she's as powerful as the Clairvoyant :/

@BlackDoomShadow

Could you provide us with those clarifications, please? Also, if you are the actual writer, then kudos and WAY TO GET 'EM ON THE PLAGIARISM!!!! If you're not the actual writer.......then I will have lost all faith in humanity and will convert to Gustoism.....don't ask........

BlackDoomShadow and another user on SHH were both at the screening so we know this is legit (the plot descriptions anyway)...

However, re Hand being the Clairvoyant, it sounds like that is conjecture on BlackDoomShawdow's part. Here are more details from his/her posts on SHH:

She might be the Clairvoyant, or maybe that is misdirection, but even if she is it seems likely there is still someone higher up (Leader, Zemo, Von Strucker?) pulling the strings.

To be honest I doubt they would reveal the identity of the Clairvoyant before the finale. The implication (with the dramatic music and everything) might have been that Hand was simply a traitor, rather than the actual Clairvoyant.
ProfessorX
ProfessorX - 3/24/2014, 3:35 AM
If Hand really is the Clairvoyant, then why couldn't she find out about the GH.325 serum and the "guest house" herself? Fitz got the location from SHIELD files, so why couldn't she do the same?
Dinotron

The said the clairvoyant was a guy earlier so it doesn't make sense
