You may recall that, earlier this week, I posted an article in regards to an amazing VFX Breakdown courtesy of VFX company ShadeFX, who did the visual effects for Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil, which was nominated for an emmy for Outstanding Visual Effects. Now, FuseFX, the company behind ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., have followed suit with a VFX breakdown of their own. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was also nominated in the same category.

It is quite an amazing feat accomplish creating the VFX for a television series to a standard where you are nominated for an emmy. VFX companies simply don't have the time to polish their effects for television like they do with feature films, but they still have to create photo-realistic vehicles and environments, handle pyrotechnics, create CG expansions to the sets, and many other tasks. You can check out the break down for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. below:

Pretty incredible stuff, right? The VFX supervisor for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Mark Kolpack, had this to say in regards to FuseFX:

"FuseFX is by far the best visual effects company working in television. They have the best pipeline and the best talent pool. Their organization and attention to detail is outstanding".

But what do you guys think? Were you impressed by the effects for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? How do you think they measure up to those done for Daredevil by ShadeFX? Let me know in the comments section below, and be sure to hit that thumbs up and share button!

I really hope they get better music, the old heroic Shield theme doesnt fit anymore. I would like a theme similar to the Winter Soldier one.

One of the things I was worried about before the show started was the quality of the CGI. I have to say for the most part, the CGI, has been great, close to movie-level stuff.

This video has gotten me excited for the upcoming season.

Woah!!!!!

Actually thought that the Bus was an actual plane at the scenes when they used to be in the base. Wished they would have done the job of Cal's transformation. That would require an hulk-caliber CGI, which they could easily done.

But this got excited for season 3. Season 2 of AoS was awesome.

Yeah the effects are great, it's the story that is boring.

@nikgrid: Boring? How? Story was possibly the the highlight of this season. Arguably the best of all the CBTVS.
