DAREDEVIL Actor Elden Henson Rumored To Return As Foggy Nelson For BORN AGAIN Disney+ Series

Elden Henson played a key role as Matt Murdock's best friend and partner in Netflix's Daredevil series, and the actor is now rumored to reprise the role for the upcoming Born Again Disney+ show...

We were initially led to believe that the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ series would completely ignore the events of the now defunct Netflix show, and while that may still be the case (plot-wise, at least), the project is starting to sound more and more like a soft reboot.

Star Charlie Cox did recently confirm that Born Again would be its own thing, and shouldn't be looked at as "Daredevil season 4," but a new rumor points to Matt Murdock being joined by a familiar friendly face from his Netflix days.

Scooper Daniel Richtman - who has a pretty solid track record with this sort of thing - is reporting (via his Patreon) that Elden Henson looks set to return as Foggy Nelson in Born Again. Foggy played a key role over the three seasons of Daredevil as The Man Without Fear's best pal and partner, and is a vital part of the comics, so it's no surprise that the character will feature in this show.

If Henson really is returning, Marvel Studios clearly felt that recasting the part when both Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) are reprising their respective roles made little sense. Does this mean Deborah Ann Woll will also be back as Karen Page? We haven't heard anything on that front yet, but we'd say there's a pretty good chance.

Daredevil: Born Again is sure to use certain elements of the Marvel Comics arc of the same name, but a completely faithful adaptation of that bleak story is highly unlikely. Hopefully, some official details will be announced soon.

@MrDandy - Agreed hoping they bring em all back...I know some people are not as high on him and Karen coming back but maybe the writers can write them better the 2nd go around(although the writing for both were okay for me on NETFLIX just needs some minor tweaks)

@MrDandy - exactly. This was the only Netflix show that actually had a really solid, good supporting cast. No reason not to bring anyone back if that character is going to be used.

@MrDandy - I'm fine if they don't. It most likely will be a different timeline, so it would be good to recast some of them.
A new Elektra, a new Bullseye, a new Foggy, etc.

Harrison Ford as Stick would be perfect.

@MrDandy - I agree 100%, but the problem is going to be all the idiots who won't be able to distinguish between the Netflix show and the new Marvel show and where everything falls in to "the canon."

@MrDandy -
I know a bunch of y'all did the show but this guy was the worst, IMHO. I was hoping for a better supporting cast however we shall see what good writers with a better budget can do with them.

I know Foggy has his detractors, but each time I rewatch the series, it's with an MCU casual. Every time, they love Foggy. I hope he isn't replaced!

@TheRose - Been trying to turn my girl into a CBM fan but Hawkeye and Daredevil are the only ones she's liked at all, mostly because of Foggy, Karen and Kingpin. Write shows with better supporting characters for ppl who hate superheroes!

Good, he was outstanding. We balanced Matt out well imo.

This dude was horrible as foggy. Such a whine bag crybaby who I couldn’t stand when he was on screen. Probably the worst character in an otherwise amazing show

Yes please. And Karen. And especially Dex.

Hell bring em all back. If it's not canon then have Ben Urich show up as well that would be a very easy way of addressing them the Canon debate.

@TheManWithoutFear - Well everything is Canon except when it isn’t, and nothing is Canon except when it is. All thanks to the incident. I still remember where I was when it happened. I have no idea where I was, that’s where I was.

@TheWalkingCuban - This is the beauty - or problems if you see it that way - of the multiverse. You can do whatever you want. Despite what they’ve said before, I guarantee that the Netflix shows happened in another universe. Loki and Spider-man No Way Home established that variants can look the same or different from the version we know. Keep some actors, reboot others. It all works with the multiverse.

@mountainman - which is why I want them to get some big bald Australian from a fighting movie as Hercules before memory of that lil super Mario sets in like stone
