As reported earlier today, Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series has been filming quietly under the working title Bluff since last month, and the New York City shoot will reportedly last until later this month. Now thanks to Latino Review, the first photos and a short video have surfaced from the New York City set seemingly capturing the pivotal scene in which Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) first loses his eyesight as kid. The photos feature an overturned "toxic waste truck" while the footage shows the young Murdock actor yelling, "I can't see," from afar. Check out the goods below!

Marvel’s Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Marvel’s first original series on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard, along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb. Starring Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson, Elden Henson, and Vincent D'Onofrio, the 13-episode series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2015.

That's a kid actor, not Charlie Cox--not trying to be a dick, just thought you should know.

Yeah, that's definitely a child's voice. Also, it looks like some of the people are wearing dated clothing.

I know it's just a flipped truck, but damn, just seeing that it's actually happening gets me hyped up.

TheMadman

If that's a kid actor (even though I haven't watched the video) and that's a flipped truck, it's a possibility it's his origin being shot.

This is probably my most anticipated MCU-related project, close tie with AoU.

Just watched, the vid. It looks like they're helping up an old guy. In his origin, Murdock pushed an old dude out of the way of a truck.

That sounds like a child. I doubt it Charlie Cox. Most likely young Matt Murdock

@0megaDaGod

I wonder if it will be established that he's been Daredevil for a while now or if this will be a straight up origin story. I'm also curious whether they'll show his reaction/whereabouts during the whole alien invasion.

I know people love to give Ben a lot of shit for Daredevil, but truly he was decent in the role. The script and direction are what screwed him. He did just fine with what he had to work with.

These shows are set up brilliantly. Apparently they'll each take place during different time periods (besides Defenders, of course). It helps avoid certain established MCU events, but they can also address them if they wanted. Like the Chitauri invasion.

Going by the info from the other article, the pilot will have (almost) finished filming by the time SDCC rolls in! Please do not sacrifice a DD panel for AoS.

@Ezio

Fingers crossed for the yellow outfit initially (lack of experience and no color coordination, obviously), and then switching to the more familiar all red suit mid-season.

As long as Stan Lee doesn't do another f.ucking cameo.
