Attorney Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) is blind, but his other four senses function with superhuman sharpness. By day, Murdock represents the downtrodden. At night, he is Daredevil, a masked vigilante, a relentless avenger of justice. When Wilson Fisk (Michael Clarke Duncan) hires Bullseye (Colin Farrell) to kill Daredevil, Murdock must rely on his own senses and search out the conspirators against justice -- which may include his own girlfriend, Elektra (Jennifer Garner).

My take away from this movie is that it seems that they took it way too serious at times and not serious enough at other times.

The movie was alright not excellent nor horrible. I actually enjoy watching it, and yes I have said this many times.......I actually like Elektra.....well because of the baddies.

I don't understand why everybody hates this movie. I think it was pretty good. And I think so does ScreenJunkies. That honest trailer was kinda bad.

I was at the Comic Con panel where Mark Steven Johnson and Ben Affleck were promoting this and you know, they both seemed sincerely into making this a quality movie....which it completely isn't, but I can respect them for trying.... I did enjoy Johson's "The Killing Season"....so it's a shame he doesn't' direct more, just not superhero films.

This movie is a total guilty pleasure for me. Soundtrack sucks, acting is spotty at best, but Affleck was great casting for Matt Murdock and Jennifer Garner is crazy hot (although totally wrong for Elektra). Director's cut isn't much better honestly, but it's hard for me to hate this movie. Don't know what it is.
