THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER: Marvel Studios Shares Some New Spoiler Stills From Today's Shocking Episode

Marvel Studios has shared the first official images from today's episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and for the most part, the spotlight is put on Wyatt Russell's John Walker/Captain America.

Whew, that was quite an episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, eh?

John Walker's Captain America has been taken down the dark path we were expecting, and it feels like the stage has been set for him to become U.S. Agent (who he'll work for is hard to say). You can find more details on what went down in our recap, but Marvel Studios has now released the first batch of official images from "The Whole World Is Watching."

As you might expect, Cap receives the vast majority of the spotlight, though we also get to see Sharon Carter in Madripoor. She's definitely up to something, and while it doesn't appear that she is the Power Broker, we have a strong feeling the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent might be working for him.

Time will tell on that front, of course, but with only two episodes left, the pressure is now on Marvel Studios to bring everything together for a satisfying conclusion.

In our review of today's episode, we concluded by saying: "'The Whole World Is Watching' finds a quintessential balance of action and character moments, putting the spotlight on the excellent Wyatt Russell's John Walker and what it means to be Captain America in today's world."

I hope Kari Skogland gets to direct the next Avengers movie.

@Vigor - I feel like marvel is angling towards a Thunderbolts movie or show so yes.

I really liked this episode. It did a great job showing the varying ideologies of John Walker, Zemo, Karli, and Sam. Karli started off uninteresting to me but I liked her character more after this episode. Her scene with Sam in this was cool and his attempt to deescalate the situation. The ending was chilling considering everything the shield is supposed to stand for and how it’s been tainted now.

Damn, Walker ain't playing around! My jaw dropped at the ending. Slow start but very entertaining and intense 3rd act of the show!

@ShellyMando - couldn't have said it any better. When the Dora Milaje showed up in the apartment and that awesome fight ensued, that's when the episode really started to kick it into high gear. And that ending damn.

All Hits No Misses.

I thought that was pretty damned good. Walkers slow descent into madness was (imo) well done. As for the Dora Milaje I thought their fight scene was excellently done and satisfyingly long.

Zemo was consistent and slippery. I was especially happy that he refused the serum and destroyed all that he could, leaving that sole, (apparently), vial for Walker to find. Speaking of which.

Walker didn't take the serum right away. It took more push for that to happen. It meant his motivation was somewhat better (less greed for power) even if it did turn to crap by the end of the episode. The question we are left with is; does he get arrested ?

@JDL - zemo didn't leave it intentionally. Remember, walker smacked him with the shield, knocking him out, before zemo could finish

@JDL - There was a line between Karli and one of the other FS where she mentioned they were "making more" of the serum, which I need to listen to again. It might be that they are producing more in secret

@Vigor - I didn't mean to suggest that he had left it intentionally. Just that there might be another vial that he missed although I doubt it.

I hate Walker now. The sight of blood on the shield should not be one we should ever see. Shout out to the Dora Milaje tho.

Also, forgot to say it in the spoiler discussion but Erin Kellyman as Karli is REALLY GOOD.

So we’ve discovered today Zemo can not only dance, but he can also sing! What can’t he do????
