Today's episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, titled "Truth," is the longest instalment to date. We'll have our review and recap to share with you soon, but in the meantime, that big cameo has finally been revealed, and it's sure to give MCU fans something to talk about in the buildup to next week's finale.
On another note, you'll know by now that the credits take up a decent chunk of the runtime for Marvel Studios' TV shows on Disney+, and no one could really blame you for choosing to skip them.
Well, doing so today would be a big mistake!
The penultimate instalment of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier features the show's first post-credits stinger. After being stripped of his title as Captain America (not too long after Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes took the shield from him), we find John Walker creating his own shield. After attaching his medal to it, it's clear that Walker intends to continue acting as the Star Spangled superhero.
Of course, this now explains the shield that was spotted by fans in a recent TV spot for the series. As you can see below, there's something off about it, and that's because it's "homemade." As we're willing to bet John didn't have access to Vibranium, we're not banking on this shield lasting long, but if and when he becomes U.S. Agent, it wouldn't be a shocker if he's still wielding it.
Regardless, he's clearly not done and intends to go after the Flag Smashers by himself...
