We're not sure where these came from, but several deleted scenes from Disney+'s Hawkeye have been shared online (you can check out two featuring The Kingpin here), and even though most of them are fairly uneventful, some are definitely worth a watch.
This latest sequence takes us back to Clint Barton's childhood for the first time, as the future Avenger picks a pocket or two with his young (teenage?) mother at the fair. After swiping a watch, Clint demonstrates his skills at the duck shoot, proving that he was always an adept marksman.
The scene gives us an intriguing glimpse into Barton's past, as the budding archer's mother teaches him that it's okay to "do bad things to bad people." Of course, we know Clint would go on to join S.H.I.E.L.D. as an elite assassin, and it seems his willingness to take human life when necessary may have had it routes in that car with his mam.
You'll find more scenes in the thread above, and while a few do feature some fun character moments, it's not hard to see why the majority were cut.
What did you guys think of Hawkeye overall? Would you like to see a second season?
