HAWKEYE Opening Title Sequence Officially Released On Disney+

Following the release of some Hawkeye concept art, Disney+ has shared the opening title sequence (or most of it, at least) to the upcoming show on the streaming service.

The video was shared via Twitter by our friends over at MCU Direct, and while there's no hint of the theme music that'll be used for the sequence, we do get a look at some pretty cool Matt Fraction-David Aja inspired graphics of both Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld?) in action.

Specific plot details for Hawkeye remain under wraps, but we do know it'll focus on Barton training up Bishop, possibly as his replacement.

Check out some concept art for the show along with Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If? by hitting the view list button, and let us know which Disney+ Marvel series you're most looking forward to in the comments.

It was previously featured in the "Expanding the Universe" featurette. But regardless, it's a pretty cool looking opening. :)

@L0RDbuckethead - I wasn't going to say anything but considering this was my first 'first' AND I managed to beat a legend such as yourself... I want you to know I have nothing but the utmost respect for you and I'm not going to take this opportunity for granted, my liege.

I'm no legend - you've just got quick keyboard fingers!

Plus, great minds think alike :)

@KWilly - It is well past his court date and he still has custody of his kid, so it looks like it was bs

Looks ok.

OT: Tonight's episode of Watchmen was very good.

So who is going to add the theme from Archer to this?

@JonAwesome - lol I was thinking that to myself the first time I saw it, well the “coincidence” that the intro looks like ARCHER of all shows.

@JonAwesome - I was subconsciously playing the Archer theme in my head as I watched it, but I didn't even notice until your comment.

I'm feeling a 60s bass guitar vibe from it. Also is reminding me of the Matt Fraction style.

As awesome as this title sequence is, this is NOT new. This has been around for months. This site is really losing it's credibility.

I don’t know who that is (probably a stand-in), but that isn’t Steinfeld

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance
Given half a chance
And I have never seen that suit you're wearing
Or the highlights in your hair that catch your eyes
I have been blind

The falcon in red is dancing with me
Cheek to cheek
There's nobody here
It's just you and me
It's where I want to be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
You were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled
It took my breath away
And I have never had such a feeling
Such a feeling of complete and utter love
As I do tonight

Genuine question, is Kate Bishop actually popular?

I read some of the Matt Fraction-David Aja run of Hawkeye and whilst it was an interesting take, it didn't really blow me away but I haven't read much else with her in.

So they’re really going full steam ahead with Renner on this then.
CaptCoulson
CaptCoulson - 11/18/2019, 4:43 AM
@OmegaBlack13 - well yeah, I don't think that was ever really a question, was it?
what seems kind of funny now is how the Kate Bishop character is presented in a very vague, not overly identifying way, considering the update we got recently that Hailee Stenfield is by no means confirmed as actually doing the series lol
OmegaBlack13
OmegaBlack13 - 11/25/2019, 1:41 AM
@CaptCoulson - Idk, I figured that some doubt would be cast from the allegations but it looks like they never really gained steam, which is surprising.

As with all else of course I will wait til a proper view for my full judgement, but I don't know, is the "Zombie Cap" thing maybe kind of the dumbest of all the potential "What If?" series segments?
But, I guess it's based (at least in part) on something that was done in an actual comics run, right? but like, so is Steve Rogers the *only* zombie that there is, and if not how did he turn, is this a universe where the concept of zombies in pop culture exists, is it back still in the WWII days or is it after a long sleep...
