Hawkeye is still shooting in New York, and these latest set photos are perhaps the best yet! As you can see, our first look at Hailee Steinfeld suited up as the new Hawkeye has finally been revealed.

This is a little different to the concept art we saw not too long ago, but there's no telling how many iterations Kate Bishop's costume has been through since then. Either way, the actress looks phenomenal here, and definitely what we hoped and expected to see from Kate in her live-action debut.

There's no mask, but thats not overly surprising, and we'll no doubt see Steinfeld in those familiar shades at some point!

Looking beyond this Disney+ TV series, all the signs are pointing to the Young Avengers assembling during Phase 4, and this Hawkeye definitely looks like a worthy addition to any version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Not much is known about what we can expect from MCU's take on Kate, of course, but if these set photos are anything to go by, Marvel Studios plans to stick pretty close to the comic books.

Pffff! Going with Hollywood stylized obsolete back mounted quiver. No truly proficient archers in history did it like that. It’s all about the side holster.

@CaptainMexico - seems like that could get in the way, they will also be running and fighting, not just shooting arrows

@CaptainMexico - Oh lord, quit it. It’s like the Olympic archers complaining about (Renner’s) Hawkeye’s shooting style back when The Avengers first came out. Complaining that his form was incorrect, even though his superhero can perform shots that no one else can. As in - Fictitious Superhero.

@CaptainMexico - yes, because a side holster for a dozen arrows is really practical when you have a character who's constantly running around. And this is something that completely ruins suspension of disbelief, and not the fact there's even a guy with a bow and arrow fighting off alien invaders alongside a billionaire in a robot suit, a ww2 supersoldier, a giant green monster, and the literal god of thunder. Truly the back quiver draws the line here.

@CaptainMexico - also, i researched it as i was curious. Hip quivers (have no idea why you're calling them side holsters) are genuinely preferable when talking about target and field archery. However, these are preferable as they're staying in one spot and can take their time reloading and aiming. Hawkeye is a soldier who needs to move about, fight hand to hand, quickly switch between multiple targets, and reload quickly to accomodate those targets before they get the drop on him. For all these reasons, the back quiver is actually preferable.

@Origame - sounds like my joke about the back quiver really struck a nerve with you. I wasn’t being serious at all, and you are a massive dork for going off like that. Maybe if your lucky, Hailee Steinfeld will see how hard you tried to defend her and the back quiver and you will finally get a date with your dream girl. Probably not though.

@CaptainMexico - 1) "its just a joke" classic defense. Not good, but classic.

2) really didnt strike a nerve. Its just stupid to complain about when the very concept of hawkeye in the avengers is farfetched. Not to mention its wrong anyway so what does it matter?

3) and you end it with an insult. Truly the answer of a man who has the upperhand in an argument and isnt upset by it at all.

I'm thinking they'll be a few costumes for both throughout the series. This is only the beginning.

Hopefully the new Hawkeye and Black Widow dont get shafted as much as the first ones.

If not solo movies, should have at least given them movies together or Shield movies

@dracula - maybe both in a Young Avengers project with Cassie?
