Marvel and Netflix have released the first teaser trailer for Iron Fist, and it's pretty damn awesome! During the panel for the series at the New York Comic-Con it was confirmed that whoever wields the power of the Iron Fist is the mortal enemy of The Hand, so that explains how Danny joins The Defenders! K'un-Lun was mentioned, while Jessica Jones character Jeri Hogarth will be Danny's lawyer.
"Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Danny Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist," reads the official synopsis for Iron Fist. In the series, the supernaturally enhanced hero wields a mystical force known as the Iron Fist, which allows him to laser-focus his chi and, for example, briefly render his fist superhumanly powerful. Danny Rand has previously been described by Netflix as handsome and sophisticated, independent and a loner.
