We're now just a few short weeks away from Loki's season 2 premiere and Marvel Studios will soon begin promoting the show in earnest. Another trailer seems likely, of course, and that's sure to be followed by various posters and TV spots (and perhaps even the odd featurette).
Unfortunately, the show's cast will not be on hand to hype up the show's return and share insights into what to expect from their respective characters.
That's due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and, while Tom Hiddleston is British, he's also a member of that group. As a result, it's believed it will be down to Kevin Wright, one of Loki's executive producers, to do the lion's share of promotion for the Disney+ series.
In other news, it's been revealed that the first episode of Loki season 2 will clock in at 45 minutes with 6 minutes of that made up of credits. That's pretty much the expected runtime for many of these shows and it will be down to that opener to set the tone for what's to come throughout the rest of the six-episode sophomore season.
It's unclear whether episodes of the show will be sent out to press in advance, though it's possible they won't be in order to avoid spoilers from doing the rounds online prior to the premiere dropping on October 6 (either way, we'll have our usual coverage the day the first episode drops).
