According to Deadline, Frank Whaley has joined the cast of Marvel and Netflix's Luke Cage as Detective Scarfe, a character described only as a hard-nosed detective in the series. However, he has a storied history in the comic books, serving as a close ally to characters like Luke, Iron Fist, and Misty Knight. Scarfe took a surprising villainous turn during the events of Shadowland, so it could be that he's either an ally or enemy to the man known as Power Man. In Luke Cage, Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage, a wrongly accused man who, granted super strength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire.
