MOON KNIGHT's Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed

The review embargo for Marvel's latest Disney+ outing, Moon Knight, lifted earlier today (you can check out my verdict over at FearHQ, and Josh's here), and Rotten Tomatoes has now unveiled the show's initial score.

Moon Knight is currently "Fresh" at 77% with 31 reviews counted, but more are being added as we write this, and that score is certain to fluctuate (it's now dipped to 73%).

Marc Spector's live-action debut appears to have gone over pretty well with the majority of critics (some are even hailing it as the best Disney+ MCU show yet), but it certainly didn't work for everyone. Most agree that Oscar Isaac does a terrific job with his dual role, however, and despite a few missteps, this limited series seems to be considered a successful entry point to the supernatural side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It's also worth noting that critics were only given access to the first four episodes, and not the full season. Without giving too much away, the fourth instalment ends on a bonkers note that sets-up a (potentially) game-changing conclusion.

What do you guys make of the reviews so far? Were they as positive as you'd hoped/expected? Drop us a comment down below.

Moon Knight hits Disney+ tomorrow.

Very rarely does marvel misstep in terms of TV and movies. Im sure its gonna be good. Maybe its just too wierd for some critics to get into

Respectable. Might check out a few reviews to see what drawbacks the negatives came away with. Hopefully it just comes down to their taste in shows.

I like all the MCU series but Loki is the best. I feel Kevin Feige should hire a tv producer to run the series to bring out the best quality.

@TheSuperMex - he needs to be hands off and empower creators with passion and vision for whichever character they are adapting. Loki was really good I agree. Waldron is my guy

@TheSuperMex -
But Loki also was a little bit disjointed until the last two episodes. Episode 4 ended with the batshit crazy thing where both the Timekeepers and Loki bought it. The last two episodes were by far the best and tied the whole thing together like Lebowski's Rug.

@TheSuperMex - All the D+ Marvel shows have started well but fail to stick the landing.

I’m just gonna say it: the MCU’s best days are behind us. Will I tune in? Sure. It’s what I do. Will marvel deliver? Of course. But not as consistently as before. I can’t wait for strange. I got excited for moon Knight, not as excited now. Still more excited for it than for MorBS but I DigrSS

There was a comment from a reviewer that states Moon Knight barely factors into his own story. I hope that’s not the case. I know Marvel wants to do things differently and experiment, but I really do hope we get Moon Knight in all his glory in this one.

Super Hyped for this show

But just the fact that Marvel is going to release an average of 8 Movies + Shows a year shows that it will no longer have 80+% averages on their product

There will be some that will not be that good

Don’t all the doom and gloom, 73%’s pretty solid for something like this lol. As long as the writing’s not embarrassingly bad like FATWS then it should be pretty fun, turn your brain off entertainment

Just glad I can see Issac and Hawke act opposite each other. Two great additions to the MCU.
