Marvel Studios Announces New Disney+ Documentary Series ASSEMBLED; Will Kick Off With WANDAVISION

It appears the Marvel Cinematic Universe will receive its own version of Disney Gallery (which takes us behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian), as Marvel Studios has now announced Assembled. Check it out!

More Marvel Studios content is coming to Disney+, as new documentary series titled Assembled has been announced today. Promising to take us behind-the-scenes of the TV shows and movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the first instalment will be put the spotlight on WandaVision

Titled Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, this first episode will stream on March 12th, and deliver an in-depth look at how the first live-action TV series from Marvel Studio was made.

This sounds a lot like Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, which featured roundtable interviews focusing on specific elements of those initial eight chapters, along with behind-the-scenes footage. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, season two was just a one-off special released on Christmas Day.

It looks like Marvel Studios will do its own thing, though, and Assembled sounds like an interesting concept. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is likely to follow, and we wouldn't be surprise if we get a special like this for Black Widow when it's eventually released in theaters (and Disney+?) this coming May.

Take a look at the announcement below:

Hell yeah, especially given how visually different this show is I’m curious to see how it came together. Other than switching aspect ratios visually the MCU hasn’t really been that different movie to movie other than maybe Doctor Strange (which is fine I’m not complaining I understand why that is) so if ever there was a time for this it would be for this show

Fantastic idea. I really liked the Mandalorian focused Disney Gallery. Looking forward to this in March.

I love this.

I think the set designers deserve massive credit for the authentic homes that Wanda and Vis have been in each decade.

Hopefully they are longer than 40-50 minutes. Still feel like Infinity War and Endgame should have goten making of documentaries.

I miss bonus content, I feel like it kind of died out with streaming. I'll watch this, WandaVision is great

Something about Disney+ always reminds me of a line from a classic Chili Peppers song - Drinkin' my juice, don't love, chugalug me...
