What If...?'s second episode put the spotlight on a reality where a young T'Challa was abducted from Earth by the Ravagers. That led to the creation of a vastly different Star-Lord, and his achievements included convincing Thanos to abandon his plan to wipe out half of all life in the Galaxy and turning Yondu's crew into a force for good.
Of course, there are consequences for even the noblest of acts, and The Collector jumped at the opportunity to fill the power vacuum left by the Mad Titan.
What followed was an awesome Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired adventure, and Marvel Studios has now shared a gallery of stills from "What If...T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?" As you can see, a number of heroes and villains receive the spotlight, including Howard the Duck and Proxima Midnight (in this reality, the Black Order fell under the control of The Collector).
The response to the second episode of What If...? has been extremely positive, with many praising Chadwick Boseman's incredible performance as T'Challa. That hero is better known to us as Black Panther in the MCU, of course, but the actor was every bit as fantastic as Star-Lord.
