Tim Kring's hotly anticipated mini-series has just added another fan-favorite Heroes alum! Deadline are reporting that Jimmy Jean-Louis will now reprise his role as the enigmatic Haitian for an arc on Heroes Reborn. Most recognisable as Noah Bennet's mind-wiping partner, Jean-Louis will re-team with co-star Jack Coleman as a fellow returning cast member. He is the third former character to be confirmed as returning, and will also be joined by Masi Oka's Hiro Nakumura.

NBC's Heroes had its fair share of fans and critics, with many joining the latter category towards the end of its four year run
. Much of the criticism tended to surround the poor treatment of characters who were once beloved by the audience. The Haitian was arguably once such character, who started off brightly in the show's critically acclaimed freshman run, but was later sidelined in future seasons. Let's hope the writers have a more worthy arc planned for him this time around!

Many had assumed Coleman's Bennet would be the only returning character for Heroes Reborn, but the last two castings have proven otherwise. Are you happy to see more of your old favorites, or would you rather see more focus on new characters (such as the one being played by Thor: The Dark World's Zachary Levi)? As always, let us know your thoughts down below!

They NEED to bring back Micah, it makes the most sense considering He would be like 18 now and electronics are everywhere.

I was really wanting this new series to have been only new cast members, but it looks like there will be another fan favorite joining the cast. Hopefully there will be news soon on more new cast members, then old ones. That being said, it will be interesting to see what he has been up too.

Writers strike killed this show

I really hope they bring back Ali Larter, at least for an episode or even a cameo. She was HRG's right hand woman by the end of season 4, she't fit in!

The writer's strike helped to kill the show, but the budget is what ultimately doomed it. I remember the crazy buildup over the seasons to the Showdown between the Petrelli Bros. Vs. Sylar. All we got to see was Clair's reaction as she watched it. Such a disappointment. I stopped watching the show after that. Seemed like every time something cool was about to happen, they'd kill the story so they wouldn't have to show crazy powers and such. Maybe now, in a short run and with technology being slightly cheaper and more advanced, can this be brought to tv.

Loved the Haitian, and especially the Bennet/Haitian combo! Still not sure how I feel about all this though. Not too big on bringing too many old characters back, too much baggage.
