Tim Kring's hotly anticipated mini-series has just added another fan-favorite Heroes alum! Deadline are reporting that Jimmy Jean-Louis will now reprise his role as the enigmatic Haitian for an arc on Heroes Reborn. Most recognisable as Noah Bennet's mind-wiping partner, Jean-Louis will re-team with co-star Jack Coleman as a fellow returning cast member. He is the third former character to be confirmed as returning, and will also be joined by Masi Oka's Hiro Nakumura.
NBC's Heroes had its fair share of fans and critics, with many joining the latter category towards the end of its four year run. Much of the criticism tended to surround the poor treatment of characters who were once beloved by the audience. The Haitian was arguably once such character, who started off brightly in the show's critically acclaimed freshman run, but was later sidelined in future seasons. Let's hope the writers have a more worthy arc planned for him this time around!
Many had assumed Coleman's Bennet would be the only returning character for Heroes Reborn, but the last two castings have proven otherwise. Are you happy to see more of your old favorites, or would you rather see more focus on new characters (such as the one being played by Thor: The Dark World's Zachary Levi)? As always, let us know your thoughts down below!
I'll understand if you've just forgotten everything I wrote.
