Season three of The Mandalorian ended with a post-credits scene showing Boba Fett returning to Tatooine and seemingly taking over the planet following the death of Jabba the Hutt (after the bounty hunter had gunned down Bib Fortuna, that is). The stinger was followed by the reveal that The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney+ later this year, though we still don't know if it's going to be a movie or series.
Recently, we've seen rumours that Timothy Olyphant will reprise his role as Cobb Vanth, while it's also been suggested that Pedro Pascal will make a cameo appearance as Din Djarin.
Time will tell on that front, but following reports of other bounty hunters appearing in the spinoff, LRM Online is claiming to have heard that Bossk will be returning to a Galaxy Far, Far Away in The Book of Boba Fett. He made his live-action debut in The Empire Strikes Back as one of the bounty hunters hired by Darth Vader to track down the Millennium Falcon.
As with most of those characters, he really took off in the minds of fans, and received a backstory in The Clone Wars animated series. It was there we learned that he was a close ally to the young Boba (and maybe a little nicer than his appearance initially suggests).
Given that they were in competition to capture Han Solo, it will be interesting to see whether this reunion depicts them as allies or enemies. We're hoping for the former because if this is a limited series, there's no denying how much fun it would be to watch Boba and Bossk team up as they head into battle!
The Book of Boba Fett is set to premiere on Disney+ this Winter.
