We've already told you about one big Easter Egg in the latest episode of Andor, but one eagle-eyed fan (via SFFGazette.com) has now found even more exciting nods to the wider Star Wars franchise in Luthen Rael's den of antiquities on Coruscant.
For starters, there's a piece of Mandalorian Beskar armour that's eerily similar to what Din Djarin wears in The Mandalorian. Needless to say, where this story takes place in the timeline means that's just a coincidence, though it's still fun to see a piece of armour that pays homage to the bounty hunter's people.
Behind that, we see a Twi'lek Kalikori. Those of you who watched Star Wars Rebels will no doubt remember how significant that family heirloom was to Hera Sydulla, and it's interesting that Luthen has somehow got his hands on one of them.
Elsewhere, we see that the Rebel has managed to acquire Jedi and Sith Holocrons. We're shocked Emperor Palpatine hasn't got his hands on those, but perhaps Luthen is deliberately hiding the artefacts from those who would use them for nefarious means?
Another nod to the past that's also got Rebels fans talking is a stone tablet depicting the World Between Worlds. We first visited that in the animated series when Ahsoka Tano and Ezra Bridger stumbled across the mystical realm during the former's battle with Darth Vader. Those also appear to reference Mortis, an important location we first visited in The Clone Wars.
A slightly less serious Easter Egg comes in the form of Indiana Jones' whip which, hilariously, has been encased in Carbonite! That's obviously a fun nod to what happened to Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back and a great way to pay homage to another of Lucasfilm's most iconic franchises before the fifth movie arrives in theaters next year.
Needless to say, all of these are interesting and may or may not have consequences for future Star Wars projects. Even if it's just Lucasfilm having fun, it's hard not to appreciate nods like this as these are some real deep-cut Easter Eggs that deepen this Galaxy Far, Far Away in clever ways.
