THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 SPOILERS Reveal Some Batsh*t Crazy Plans For Grogu And A Returning Fan-Favorite

Some new details about The Mandalorian's upcoming third season have been revealed, and it sounds like Grogu's reunion with Din Djarin is set to take The Child to some crazy places in the Disney+ series...

Season 3 of The Mandalorian might be the most highly anticipated of all the Star Wars TV shows coming to Disney+ this year, and after you've read these details, you'll be even more excited!

According to Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com), the series will indeed feature a huge battle (likely on Mandalore) with the remaining Mandalorians heading into action alongside their respective, armoured foundlings. Given Grogu's small stature, him suiting up for action is easier said than done, and it appears Din Djarin comes up with a unique solution.

Mando supposedly uses IG-11 as a "mech" for Grogu. They explain that he "literally sits inside the chest of a modified IG-11 who has been reinforced with beskar and has been turned into the foundling’s suit of Mandalorian armor." The droid - who exploded in The Mandalorian's season 1 finale - also offers Grogu "data on probabilities of success and protects The Child."

It sounds like Grogu will be controlling IG-11's enhanced form, though some semblance of the droid's personality remains. The former Jedi even "beats the sh*t out of some Stormtroopers," and the site posits that IG-11's return is likely down to those Jawas recovering what many suspected might be his remains after he blew himself up in an effort to protect Grogu from Moff Gideon's forces.

This sounds pretty bonkers, and yes, Taika Waititi is expected to lend his voice to IG-11 again.

While the concept described here might sound like something out of Men in Black, it's actually something Dave Filoni already explored in The Clone Wars with a bounty hunter named Seripas:

Got to give it to them. They’ve realised the money is in that tiny Yoda and they are going to put as many toys of him in the show as possible

I just don't understand why they gave such an emotional goodbye to Grogu at the end of S2, only to give him back after only one year.

Except for its disastrous finale, I enjoyed Book of Boba Fett (even tho they totally butchered the character, who came from a badass in Mando S2, to a smiling old man in BoBF).

Not sure if there is a need for season 2 of BoBF.

His return is far too soon after season 2. Needed a whole season free from Grogu, there's plenty of stories to be told, then get him back for season 4.

I don't know about this. When the concept was used in The Clone Wars, the being inside the armor was basically powerless without it. Grogu on the other had has skills. Not sure it would technically be necessary other than to offer more assurances for his over-protective foster father Mando, which basically is what he has become in my eyes. But as someone indicated earlier, it will definitely increase the sale of toys.

OFF TOPIC!

"X" Horror movie Looking great. Going Friday Night 100% at Rotten Tomatoes with 16 Reviews even with Top Critics.

Without a doubt, X is a triumph in every possible way: it defies expectations, it's both thoughtful and thought-provoking in equal measure, and the way that West is able to effortlessly build tension and terror throughout is downright transcendent.

Original Score: 5/5

Ti West's X delivers big on slasher-style thrills, but also adds in a shockingly powerful examination of aging, the power of beauty, and what happens when one loses that power.

Original Score: 4.5/5

@McMurdo - For Horror movies this early that's a lot especially with 7 from Top Critics.

Horror was my first love even before CBM's. As kid I had monsters on my bedroom wall not comic book superheroes.

The Hulk is a Monster himself probably why he is my favorite Superhero.

@DoubleD - let’s go! I love how the trailers have only led me to believe that grandma lady is gonna eat some beeotches. Not revealing anything is the best way to go with horror trailers
